Nice to Meet You!

Rumena is a Macedonian born actor and director based in Los Angeles.

Her passion for acting and working with actors started from her childhood, as she was a frequent visitor of the theaters in Macedonia where she watched her aunt perform.

Rumena has acted in several plays and short films and has won a Best Supporting Actress Award at the DAF festival in Macedonia. She is skilled in various Southeastern & Eastern European accents, improv, singing and dancing. Rumena continues working on her craft and takes acting and ballet classes.

As a director, Rumena has directed a number of projects including short films, theatre plays, music videos and commercials. The music video for the song “Thief” by DJ Ookay has now over 12 million views on Youtube and has screened at Universal City Walk.

She has also co-founded Rumikay Studio, a creative film and marketing studio.

Currently Rumena is writing a new short film and co-hosts the podcast, Rumikay Talks.
